Self-host quickstart

Uptempo runs one business on a machine you control. The license is AGPL-3.0.

With Docker installed, from the repository root run ./scripts/init-env.sh to generate .env with required secrets, then run docker compose up -d.

Open http://127.0.0.1:3000, complete /setup, finish onboarding, and book at /book/<your-slug>.

Check the generated .env from the repository root with docker compose run --build --rm --no-deps migrate node scripts/check-local-bootstrap.mjs --env-only. This checks configuration without connecting to Postgres.
