Run Uptempo yourself

The hosted service and the self-hosted app are the same code. The source is public under the GNU Affero General Public License, version 3.0.

Start it with Docker Compose

You need Git and Docker. These four commands start the app, a worker for scheduled jobs, and a Postgres database.

git clone https://github.com/wizard7558/uptempo
cd uptempo
./scripts/init-env.sh
docker compose up -d

Then open the site, finish setup, and book at /book/your-business.

License

AGPL-3.0-only. You can use, change, and share Uptempo. If you run a changed version for other people over a network, you must offer them your changed source code.

We run it at bookuptempo.com for any number of businesses. Email, text reminders, and the iPhone apps are set up for you.

You run it on a machine you control, for one business. There is no monthly price and no card processing charge from Uptempo.
